In a world where the majority of consumers, employees and investors prefer businesses who care about more than simply making profits, there's an increasing need for businesses to have a social impact statement and to be able to demonstrate how they are embracing this across their business. 

There are four stages to developing an effective social impact business strategy: define your social impact mission statement, embed this across your business, measure your impact, and tell your story.  

This workshop focuses on the first stage: getting clarity on the social impact you want to have through your business and writing a concise social impact mission statement – wording you can immediately use in your marketing and align your business activities around. You'll also hear about businesses that do this well to inspire you and give you ideas for what you could do.

This practical workshop is a mix of business giving insights, examples, practical exercises and discussion – all designed so you leave with a concise social impact mission statement you can use straight away or discuss with colleagues or stakeholders.
