What type of books do we read?
We mainly read and discuss non-fiction books that empower us to become better global citizens. These typically fall into three main genres: biographies of women having an impact in the world, feminine wisdom, and personal development.
All books we discuss are books that:
- are written by an inspiring woman making a difference in the world
- share an unusual or inspiring story
- offer a new perspective
- are relevant for women of all ages and cultures
The books we read are proposed and voted on by our members. Check out our reading list <HERE>.
As a community of avid readers we do also share recommendations for other genres of book too.
How does it work?
Each month you will receive an email advising you of our book of the month and you'll be invited to attend our monthly Zoom calls.
When do calls take place?
These usually take place 4-5pm UK time (5pm Europe / 11am US Eastern) on the forth Wednesday of the month. The only pre-requisite for attending is that you've read at least a third of the book and have an opinion to share.
How much does it cost?
Nothing it's free to join and attend calls. That said, we like to raise funds for charity and sometimes invite members who join calls to make a donation to charities mentioned during calls.
